October 20, 2023: Smoke Alert
Due to heavy smoke in the area, the Port Arthur Police Department has closed Hwy. 73 eastbound at West Port Arthur Road until further notice. Drivers can detour by taking West Port Arthur Road north to FM 365.
Reports are that marsh fires in Louisiana are the cause for the smoke across the region. Citizens with respiratory illness are advised to stay inside unless absolutely necessary.
The campus is open for regular business hours today.
